NMCA 2015 Race Schedule
Here are a few clips that we put together from the last race at Fontana in slow motion to see how the suspension was reacting to the change we have been making. Trying to leave with the front tires only a few inches off the ground.
What a crazy race weekend, from blowing out a tire on the trailer on the way to the race to the great pot luck dinner in the pits on Friday night. We had a great race weekend at SCSN 10. The car made 2 of the fastest passes ever. With these great runs it put us in the number 4 qualifying position with an ET best of 8.25. We also ran our best MPH 163 and a 1.16 60ft time. Which was enough for lane choice going into eliminations on Sunday. We misjudged the track a little bit and the car did not leave the starting line as hard as it needed to. This resulted in us going out early but all and all it was a great weekend and we had an amazing time. I would like to thank everyone that helped out this weekend to make this trip possible. The amazing crew Brent Udell, Dana Sniff and Mark Winchester, they made sure the car was ready for each run and all adjustments were made. With this being the last race of the season for the team we would like to thank our great sponsors that make this all possible. Regal Commercial Services, Dana Sniff Racing Transmissions, Winchester Metal Works, LP Racing and Monster Energy for the sampling opportunity. If you would like any information on these great companies and their services please allow us to get you in touch with them and make sure to tell them you saw their company with team NFE. This was a great season for the team with a lot learned about the set up and the car is really running well. We finished 7th in NMCA West Points for the season. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year with the car and giving it a run for the championship.

We will be heading out to “try our luck” in Las Vegas in a few weeks. This is always a really fun race where we get to see fellow racers from all over the world. The car is back in the shop and the regular maintenance work will be done this weekend. VEGAS baby!!
The team ran the 4 fastest passes to date in the Nova. a 8.30 @ 163mph was the fastest. The car is really coming around and showing promise. We qualified #5 of 10 cars and had lane choice going into eliminations Sunday morning. We won the first round of eliminations and faced the eventual event winner in the 1/4 finals and lost a very close race. Last week was extremely busy from dyno sessions, to a late night motor install and gear changes between round 2 and 3 of qualifying. But it was a great weekend at the races. Thank you to everyone who helps with the car, Dana Sniff, Dennis Sniff, Mark Winchester, Brent Udell and Lang Paciulli we couldn’t do what we do with out the help from these guys. Next race is just 3 weeks away SCSN in Las Vegas on Nov 20th-23rd. This is the biggest race of the year and always brings out the fastest cars in the country. Come to the track and check out the fastest door slammers in the world. As if you really need an excuse to go to Vegas! See you at the track.
This week has been a bit crazy getting the car ready for this weekend. Dyno on Monday at Mountain View Performance. Tuesday spent in the shop with the crew getting the motor installed, gears changed and buttoning everything up. The crew worked like crazy to get the complete car put back together in 4 hours. Loaded the trailer up Thursday and headed to the track Friday. Big thank you to Mark Winchester of Winchester Metal Works, Adam at A1 Converters for getting the converter done in 1 day for us and shipped over night, Brent Udell, Dennis Sniff and Dana Sniff of Dana Sniff Racing Transmissions. We are very happy with the numbers on the Dyno and have some great information going into the weekend. Looking for some new personal bests and going some rounds on Sunday. Make sure to stop by our pit this weekend and pick up some Monster Energy drinks. See you at the track.
Spent the day pulling the motor while listening to the NHRA live feed from the race in Dallas. It was a very productive day and nice that the weather has cooled down a bit. We are really looking forward to getting back to the track and hitting the loud pedal again. The motor will be going to the dyon in the next week to try some new things in search for more power! We will keep you posted on how it goes at the dyno.
